Dear M/s Betsy Ashbourne

cc: Black Velvet Members

I wish to thank you for your kind letter dated 20th May 2009 and am very pleased to learn that all your members and guests enjoyed our music. We too enjoyed ourselves and above all to have a photograph of the band taken with Sarah, The Duchess of York. The band members felt honoured and have asked me for copies. I cannot fail to mention Pink Champagne who performed exceptionally well providing first class entertainment on the night.

We are so pleased the Ball was an outstanding success for GRACE where you raised £30,000 on the night.

Looking at your 'Dates for the Diary 2009'

On Wednesday 11th November you have the 8th GRACE Annual Autumn Fair to be held at Gate Street Barn, Bramley, nr. Guildford. As you may need a Public Address system (PA) for your announcements etc., I am happy to provide you with one or two PA systems to be used by your members, and if you need some light background music using CD's in one of your stalls, I am happy to provide as my special contribution towards your fundraising project, all at no cost.

I am happy to assist in any way so do feel free to contact me.
Tel: 020 8330 2542 or Email: bvents@aol.com

Thanks once again for your very kind letter (copied below for B.V. Members).
P.S. Click on this link below to view some photographs taken with my little digital camera which can be viewed on Kodak Gallery and which does not take up any space on your PC or laptop. You have to wait for a few seconds for the photo album to load.

Dear Benny

I am writing on behalf of the Trustees of GRACE to thank you for performing at the GRACE May Ball at Lukyns on 9 May. I hope you enjoyed yourselves as much as we all enjoyed Black Velvet. I have had nothing but positive feedback from our guests so I know you contributed to everyone's enjoyment.

The Ball was an outstanding success for GRACE. Not only raising awareness of our charity and the work we are doing in the field of gynaecological cancers, but also raising a fantastic £30,000 of much needed funding. This is a huge contribution to our current fundraising drive to bring the da Vinci robotic surgical system to Guildford and you can be proud to have played a part in this.

I understand you were kind enough to retrieve and return one of the raffle prizes, for which I am very grateful.

Thank you for providing wonderful entertainment. Thank you for your support of GRACE.

Dear Benny Thank you so much for the wonderful photographs which you sent to Alex, she very kindly forwarded the link to me and Betsy. The ball was a huge success generating approximately £30,000 and you and your band certainly got the party going with a swing to everyone's enjoyment, so thank you once again.
The next big GRACE event is the annual Autumn Fair which takes place this year on Wednesday, 11th November.
I am currently putting together the brochure and I wondered whether you would consider taking a small advertisement. The rates are as follows:

Full page £800
Half page £400
Quarter £200

The price is the same for colour or black and white. We print 15,000 brochures which are posted to an excellent mailing list and distributed locally which may prove to be a good source of bookings for you.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards,

Lindsey
